Methodology
PeptidePricePro is an index of third-party research vendors. It is not a pharmacy and sells nothing. Everything on the site is a number read from a vendor’s own page, with the page it came from one click away.
What is listed
Compounds sold by US vendors for research use. Each compound gets an identity line (name, chemical class, CAS number) and, once our editor has signed off, a short note on what it has been studied for. We never publish usage information: no amounts, routes, schedules or combinations. Categories are chemical classes, not purposes.
Research context
Research notes come from primary and regulatory sources only: PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov and FDA labels, never vendor pages. Each note links its source and carries an evidence level, so you can see at a glance how strong the evidence is:
- In vitro: cell or tissue studies only.
- Animal studies: the main published work is in animals.
- Human trials: at least one registered or published human trial.
- Approved drug: approved by the FDA as a named product. Research-grade listings here are not that product.
Notes are drafted from the sources, then reviewed by a human editor before they appear. A compound without an approved note shows only its identity line. Research context is informational and is not medical advice.
How compounds are ranked
Rank is monthly US search volume from Ahrefs for the compound’s name plus its common aliases (for example bpc 157 and bpc157 are added to BPC-157). Volumes are refreshed monthly; ties break alphabetically. Names with a mainstream non-research meaning (NAD+, glutathione, oxytocin) count only research-intent search terms so they are not inflated. Rank reflects how often people search, nothing else.
How $/mg is calculated
$/mg = listed price ÷ (mg per unit × units in the listing). A 10-vial kit of 5 mg vials at $90 is $90 ÷ 50 mg = $1.80/mg. The price is the vendor’s current selling price on the day checked, including any sale price shown; shipping, taxes and discount codes are not included. Lyophilized vials are compared against each other by default. Capsules, nasal sprays, pre-mixed and IU-denominated listings are shown in a separate “other forms” section and are not ranked against vials.
“From $x/mg” on a tile is the lowest $/mg among that compound’s in-stock single-vial offers; multi-vial kits are listed under “Show all”. The three offers shown on a tile are the best $/mg from three different vendors; “Show all” lists every size.
Which vendors qualify
- US-based, with a page on the vendor’s own site that states a US address, warehouse or shipping origin.
- Publishes third-party certificates of analysis from an independent lab.
- Sells to the public as a research-chemical supplier. Telehealth services, clinics, compounding pharmacies, marketplaces and resellers are not listed.
- Does not present its products as intended for people as its primary pitch.
Whether a vendor runs an affiliate program is recorded but is not a criterion. Vendors are indexed whether or not they pay us, and ranking within a compound is by $/mg only. A vendor can ask to be removed by email and will be delisted within seven days.
Certificates of analysis
When a vendor publishes a lab report for a product, we archive a copy at the time of the check and show that copy in the COA viewer with a link to the original. Lot number, purity and lab name are shown exactly as printed on the report. We do not test products and do not verify the lab; the certificate is the vendor’s claim, preserved so it can be compared and so it cannot quietly change.
How often prices refresh
Every vendor is re-read weekly, early Sunday morning US Eastern time, and the site rebuilds the same morning. An offer that has not been confirmed for 14 days is tagged “checked n days ago”; after 30 days it is removed until it is seen again. Sold-out offers stay visible, sorted last. This index was built Oct 22, 2026.
How the data is collected
A crawler identifying itself as PeptidePriceProBot/1.0 reads vendors’ public product listings at no more than one request per second per site, respects robots.txt, and never touches carts, checkouts or accounts. Only structured facts are kept: product name, size, pack, price, stock, and the link to the lab report. Vendor marketing text is never stored or shown.
Reporting an error
If a price, size, link or certificate is wrong, email hello@peptidepricepro.com with the compound and vendor. Corrections usually ship with the next weekly rebuild; obvious errors are hidden sooner.
Affiliate links
Some “Go” links are affiliate links and may earn us a commission at no cost to you. Commission never affects inclusion, order or the numbers shown. Details are on the disclosure page.
